Healing Art for Awakening Souls
My art celebrates our connection to Nature through the spirits of wild animals.
I believe every creature represents a spiritual truth or lesson. By observing them and listening to the messages they carry we can discover truths about ourselves, our relationships to others and our connection to the greater Cosmos.
Through my art, I hope to encourage your spirit to connect to the power and grace of the natural world.
Heres my story, in a nutshell:
Ive been doing art since I was a baby. I guess its one of those obsessions. And once I got past the stick figure phase it was always animals. Cats, dragons, and especially horses.
I majored in art at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN and have exhibited and won awards both regionally and nationally.
Took some time (well, ok, a lot of time) off to raise kids and find myself. The animals helped a lot with both. At home we have dogs, pet rats and fish. On the spirit level, Ive been guided by Horse, Snake, Eagle, Rat, Rabbit and most recently Vulture and Bear.
And now theyre telling me to share, so here I am. Take a look round, enjoy the paintings, and please, return the favor! Id especially love to hear your stories of animals. What are your favorites? How have they changed your life? What have they taught you? Let me know at firstname.lastname@example.org.
